The MTN Foundation Orphanage Support Initiative supports orphaned and vulnerable children across the country through donation of food and household items. This is an initiative that the MTNF embarks on annually in collaboration with key stakeholders.

In this phase, 20 orphanages across the country were selected to benefit from this initiative. Today, we visited Bab Es Salam Home and Little Saints Orphanage in Lagos. Present at the visit to Bab Es Salam Home were, Abisola Muri Okunola representing the Nominator( Mrs Mosun Belo-Olusoga), MTN Foundation Director Abasi-Ekong Udobang, SM programme Implementations , Pamela Imodi and Joseph

At the Little Saints Orphanage were; Odunayo Sanya Executive Secretary Foundation, SM LSW Consumer Service Calima Imino, Mrs Maryann Ekanan PrO and Educationer / Sponsorship Coordinator for Orphanages in Lagos, Damilola Oguntoye rep for the nominator, Manager HR Dr Abihire, Edward Fagbon Manager Sustainability and impact reporting MTNF.

At the Juvenile Correctional Institute in Oyo State to donate items as part of its orphanage support initiative, Present at the event were Mrs. Christianah Abosede Abisoye, Permanent Secretary, Ministry of Women Affairs & Social inclusion, Oyo State; Odunayo Sanya, Acting Executive Secretary, MTN Foundation; Prof. Bolanle Olaniyan, Wife of the Deputy Governor, Oyo State; Engr (Mrs) Tamunominini Makinde, First Lady of Oyo State; Alh. Faosat Joke Sanni, Commissioner for Women Affairs & Social Inclusion; Mrs. S.B Ayanniran, Officer in Charge of Juvenile Correctional Institute/Child Care Unit, Ibadan and Ezekiel Bamgboye, Senior Manager, Enterprise Business Sales. #MTNF

We also visited Arrow of God Orphanage nominated by Andrew Ali, Director MTNN, Love Home Orphanage nominated by Prince Julius Adelusi-Adeluyi, Chairman MTN Foundation and the Center for Destitute Empowerment International nominated by Dr. (Mrs.) Ibijoke Sanwol-Olu, Wife of the Executive Governor, Lagos State

This is our widow’s mite in ensuring that the less privileged are given access to the basic things of life.

We are happy we were able to Turn It Up for these orphanages.
