Super Eagles Stunned, But Still In Driving Seat

The Super Eagles of Nigeria were defeated 1-0 in their match against the Central African Republic (CAR) with the goal coming in the 91st minute. It was a sad end to an eventful match that saw the Eagles putting in their best effort.

Nonetheless, the Super Eagles are still in the lead in their group with six points from three matches and three matches still left to go. CAR will host the reverse fixture scheduled for October 10, 2021 where the Super Eagles will have another opportunity to gain victory on away soil.
